Physical Therapy Aide
Brittney Riggins was born in Germany and has lived bi-coastal throughout her childhood in North Carolina and California. She acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at the University of North Carolina, Pembroke and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Sports Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania. Brittney has gained hands on experience in a variety of sports including football, softball, baseball, and wrestling. In the early stages of her career, she worked as a certified athletic trainer for high school athletes assisting in injury prevention, designed rehabilitation programs, and providing emergency care. Her compassion for athletes and her willingness to rehabilitate have encouraged her patients to achieve optimal performance after injury. If she is not traveling, Brittney uses her spare time to go hiking, running, and spend time with family and friends.
Although the first stages of rehabilitation may seem discouraging, the body can be healed with proper treatment, patience, and motivation.
