Physical Therapist Aide
Tetiana was born and raised in Ukraine, Kiev and moved to Los Angeles in 2007. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She has been active with sports, including Track and Field and Softball all her life. Being active is what inspired her to get into rehabilitation therapy. During her 2 years in Athletic Training program, she had a chance to work with different age groups and different levels of athletes including high school and Division 2 college athletes. After finishing her program, Tetiana worked for two and a half years as Physical Therapy Aide. She has worked with variety of patients from the geriatric population to high-level athletes with sports and orthopedic injuries, as well as, pre and post-operative patients. During her leisure time Tetiana enjoys working out at the gym, exploring new places, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends. She also has a passion for learning about different cultures and languages.
When I was in school in Ukraine playing sports, I took a Latin course as a prerequisite for Biology. This one aphorism hasn't left my mind: "Mens sana in corpore sano", which means, "healthy body - healthy mind". One hour a day of activity can change your life!
