Sarah Major

Sarah Major, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant, Certified Pilates Instructor

Sarah received her degree in health sciences from Loma Linda University in 2006 and completed her Physical Therapy Assistant license shortly thereafter. It was while Sarah was working as an assistant at a Physical Therapy clinic that she was first introduced to Pilates. Sarah was instantly impressed that Pilates could be used as both a rehabilitative tool and could provide such a challenging total body workout. Sarah then complete completed her Pilates certification from Pilates Sports Center Encino in 2010. Sarah has since combined her knowledge of rehab with her Pilates expertise to help clients recover from sports and orthopedic injuries, as well as chronic problems. Sarah loves the fact that clients continue to benefit from Pilates after rehab is over, and that it can challenge everyone from athletes to those with injuries, in achieving their health and fitness goals. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cycling with her husband, participating in community century bike rides, hiking, jogging and enjoying the outdoors.

Treatment Philosophy:
My goal is to help my clients achieve wellness and balance of the body and mind through the practice of Pilates so they are able to stay healthy and enjoy life to the fullest.
