Jen received her Bachelor's degree from The Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. She worked in the music industry for 16 years before changing her career and life path to follow her passion in yoga therapy. Jen is originally from Massachusetts and has been living in LA for 8 years. She received her 200-hr teacher training certification from Shana Meyerson and Michelle Mazur, and obtained an additional 300-hr teacher training certification from Michelle Mazur. After completing her 500-hours of certification, she began teaching clients one-on-one. Jen's greatest strength is her innate ability to connect with others and a vast capacity to empathize and work compassionately with people of different abilities and limitations. In her free time, Jen enjoys running, yoga, cross training, hiking, reading, meditating, and spending time with friends, family, husband and her dog Dharma. She takes a multi-dimensional approach to healing by incorporating many aspects of yoga including asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breath awareness), meditation, yoga philosophy and mantra (sound). All techniques are modified as necessary and offered in a gentle and compassionate atmosphere to meet her clients' unique needs and goals.
